Jaksta Media Recorder doesn't work properly on Windows 10 Home.

Hello,

I have a problem with Jaksta Media Recorder on Windows 10 Home. I have worked with this program on Windows XP and Windows 7 and everything worked fine. On the same computer I've installed Windows 10 Home and Jaksta doesn't record any audio from any application, also it doesn't record audio from the device. I've tried the same with version 5.0.1.54 and with the currently newest version - 7.0.0.41 on two different computers with Windows 10 Home. The result was the same each time. No log file is created in debug mode when I try to record something from the application. When I try to record something from the device, after hitting "Record" button, the following log is created:
"Audio Recording (Line In)
Start: 29.10.2017 13:56
Source: Wejście liniowe (IDT High Defin
Destination: C:\Users\User\Documents\Jaksta\Jaksta Media Recorder\Wejście liniowe (IDT High Defin.mp3
Audio Recording (Line In) In Progress: Size: 0 B, Time: 00:00:00/Live, MP3 (128 kbs)
Audio Recording (Line In) In Progress: Size: 3,23 KB, Time: 00:00:00/Live, MP3 (128 kbs)"

...which is automatically deleted when I hit "Stop" button.

Does Jaksta officially works with Windows 10?
If yes, do you have any advice what can I do to make it work?

Of course it works with Windows 10 :)

You progress log snippet above indicates there is nothing plugged in to the line in that you have selected, or that it is not outputting sound.  You only want to record from a line in if you have a stereo system or something plugged into your computer.

If you want to record from an application (like spotify for example)  then you need to select Application in the Settings > Audio Recording > Audio Recording Method drop down.  The image below shows spotify being captured on Windows 10.

If you are receiving popups about jaudiocap not being configured for injection or SecureBoot being on, then you must follow those instructions on how to rectify.

Please also check that the application you are trying to capture from is in Settings > Audio Recordings > Apps

You can also record all sound that you hear by selecting Settings > Audio Recording > Audio Recording Method drop down > (Stereo Mix) What you hear

If you are still having issues then please provide debug logs as per https://support.jaksta.com/a/forums/topics/6000051704.
