Hello,
does the Guides-Tab work like a search engine? Also when i look for a tv show or so: i mostly can find the english version and all seasons and episodes but have no way to download them or open them in browser via URL. Where does this episodes + Titles database come from? When i try to search movie shows it's only DVR recommended or has Guides another use except to find videos/episodes?

Yes it is a simple search engine. Searches various internet sites such as IMDB (for TV) and google to search for sites that may be hosting the stream.
