How can I make sure this will download Funimation videos prior to buying?

Outlined steps for downloading videos from Funimation.

Since other programs that claimed to download didn't work properly, I installed the trial, but the trial will not allow me to turn on Auto, not even with the trial restrictions on download length.

I used to use a chrome extension to download these, but it no longer works. Now it just "records" video I am actively watching which I have zero interest in since the objective is to watch the videos that I pay to be able to watch on my TV. (I pay them for a premium account but their app doesn't work properly, so my workaround has always been to download the videos and put them on a flash drive to watch without issues) 

If I can't test this out without buying, do you offer refunds in the event that it does not work for me? I just don't want to buy one downloader after another and end up with nothing working.

Captures fine here in AUTO mode.


The other downloads are the ads as Im using the free version.  Captures fine in DVR mode as well.
