Jaksta Media Recorder for Windows for Windows Technical Support Forum

I have an unknown device in my PC, hardware ID is jaksta_va

Hello, I need some help.

I recently installed your jaksta recorder and player in my new laptop running Windows 10.

I noticed in device manager that I have a unknown device that has as hardware ID jaksta_va

I´m assuming it has to do something with one of your applications. Do you know how to fix this issue?

Best regards,

Roger

jaksta_va is part of the DVR capture driver.  It is a virtual audio device - will appear as speakers in your audio playback devices.

Reinstallation should add the necessary files back. Uninstallation should remove everything.

I uninstalled all Applian products with Revo uninstaller and it did not remove the Jaksta file so I am vulnerable
