Just when I really thought I'd mastered Jaksta (and I do like it!), Jaksta crashes during "UI loading" splash screen. Same problem with both v7 and v2022. Error msg screenshot attached.
Tried uninstall and reinstall---same problem.
Please advise.

Looks like you have made the folder the db is stored in read-only somehow.
C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Roaming\Jaksta Media Recorder 7\Library\db
C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Local\Jaksta Media Recorder 2022\Library\db
