Dear Support,
I try to post a new support request on this forum but cannot save it. Perhaps the text is too big or the images are too numerous, so I will go little by little.

I have the Media Recorder, aka Replay Media Catcher 2024 (2024.4.22.22) installed on a Windows 11 machine. This version fixes the issue where the DVR didn’t start because “The type initializer for 'abl' threw an exception”, thank you for that!
However, a problem subsists: the Auto mode doesn’t succeed most of the times. It depends on the URL visited and I face 3 cases: (1) the video is correctly detected and downloaded; (2) the video is correctly detected but not downloaded; (3) the video is not even detected. In all cases, if I stop the Auto mode and paste the URL for a manual download, it succeeds. It is browser-independent (tried with Firefox, Edge, Chrome and Vivaldi.)
My settings are exactly the same as on another installation on another machine, that works perfectly (but it is version 10.0.0.0 on Windows 10).
Here is an example of case (2): a video is detected but not downloaded.
I visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cffU0jSYJd8 with Firefox and JMR / Media Catcher in Auto mode. I’m supposed to have one video downloaded but here is what I get:
The main video (#6) is detected but shows “ERROR - Requested entity was not found”, while unnecessary MP3s (#7 to #10) are downloaded. These are extremely short and contain typical Windows sounds like “ding”, “beep”, I don’t even know where they appear on the YouTube page.
The “ERROR - Requested entity was not found” in red is preceded by a quick “SSL error detected. Trying again and ignoring SSL errors.” in orange. The Progress Log shows:
Stream Downloading
Start: 02/06/2024 13:23
Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cffU0jSYJd8
Destination: Mozilla Firefox
Stream Downloading Starting: Size: 0 bytes/0 bytes (0%), Time: 00:00:00/Live,
Stream Downloading Queued: Size: 0 bytes/0 bytes (0%), Time: 00:00:00/Live,
Extraction Engine Downloader
Starting stream extraction process from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cffU0jSYJd8
Prefering playlist if available in url
Requesting no ssl certificate check
Requesting mobile version
Extracting Failed: Size: 0 bytes/0 bytes (0%), Time: 00:00:00/Live,
ERROR - Requested entity was not found.
End: 01/01/0001 00:00
When this error happens, I first make sure that media #6 was the right target to download,
then I turn the Auto mode OFF, right-click on #6, choose “Restart”, and the download succeeds:
As soon as I choose the download format and quality, item #11 is created in the list
then the video is downloaded correctly.

I cleanly removed the legacy Network Monitor with Add/Remove Programs, so that only the necessary JMR / Media Catcher and Npcap are present:
The JMR / Media Catcher options are the same as on another machine that has version 10.0.0.0 installed and works fine:
Thank you and best regards,
Thierry

(also, here, the full report in one Word document in which you can find an example for case (2): a video is not detected in Auto mode, but correctly downloaded in manual mode)
